One Equal Heart Foundation supports the Jesuit Mission and its nonprofit affiliate “CEDIAC” (Center for Indigenous Rights) in their work among the Tseltal Mayan Peoples in Chiapas, Mexico, in the struggle for justice, dignity, harmony and hope. 100% of donations support community-based programs that promote spiritual renewal, cultural survival, non-violent resolution of conflicts, sustainable stewardship of native resources, and educational opportunities for Mayan youth. One Equal Heart Foundation is taken from the Tseltal “jun pajal k’otanik,” which literally means “one, equal heart of all.” The name captures the spirit of the Tseltal Mayan Peoples who say that when we live in harmony with each other, the Earth, and God, we walk together “with one equal heart.”
