Jeannie Berwick volunteers her time as the Executive Director of One Equal Heart Foundation, an organization established to support community-based programs of the Jesuit Mission and the Center for Indigenous Rights in Chiapas, Mexico. The Tseltal people have many needs. The focus of One Equal Heart Foundation is to help the people with long range solutions to their problems. This year, the Foundation is concentrating their fundraising efforts on supporting sustainable agriculture, animal husbandry and child nutrition. The Foundation also supports work study scholarships for Tseltal youth who want to study beyond high school. Jeannie has led several delegations of people on a ten day journey to be present to the Tseltal people of Chiapas, Mexico. I want to listen later. Click to download.
